Why Choose EOWC

There are a lot of chiropractors in Tulsa. Here is what is actually different about this one.

Two kinds of care in one building

The short answer is that you do not have to pick between a chiropractor and a medical provider. Three chiropractors and a nurse practitioner work in this clinic, and they talk to each other about the same patient.

That matters more than it sounds. Persistent pain is often not only mechanical. Poor sleep, low vitamin B12, a hormone shift in your forties, carrying extra weight through the lumbar spine and unmanaged inflammation all keep a back from settling down. In a chiropractic-only office those are things you get told to go see someone about. Here the person who orders the labs and reviews the results is in the next room, and your primary care, hormone work and weight management can run alongside your adjustments.

We tell you when chiropractic is not the answer

Not every problem responds to an adjustment. A disc that needs imaging, a fracture, an infection, a condition that needs medication or surgery: those need a different provider, and we say so. We work alongside other health care providers and refer patients out when the condition warrants it. A clinic that finds every patient to be a perfect candidate for its own service is not examining anybody.

The plan comes after the exam

You get an examination first, then an explanation of what we found, then a plan with a rough idea of how many visits it should take and what we expect to change. If it is not changing, we say that too and adjust the approach. Care that never ends and never improves is not care.

Gentle enough for a newborn, specific enough for an athlete

We treat every generation, and the technique changes accordingly. Pediatric and prenatal chiropractic uses light, sustained contact rather than the manual thrust an adult might get. An adult recovering from a car accident needs something different again, layered with soft tissue work and a return-to-activity plan.

The paperwork side is handled

We bill insurance, we handle auto liability and third-party claims after a collision, and CareCredit is available for care that insurance does not cover. Auto injury cases in particular generate a lot of documentation, and getting that right is part of the treatment, not an afterthought. See our insurance and payment page for what we take.

What we see most

The bulk of our caseload is low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches that begin in the neck and whiplash after a collision. Those conditions have well understood mechanics, and they respond to specific work rather than a generic adjustment. We also see a steady stream of long-standing pain in people who have already tried several things that did not hold.

Serving the Tulsa metro, not just south Tulsa

The clinic sits on South Mingo Road near 81st Street, which puts it within a short drive of Bixby, Broken Arrow, Jenks and the rest of south Tulsa County. Patients also come from Owasso and Sapulpa. Our hours run mornings and afternoons Monday to Thursday with a Friday morning, which suits people fitting an appointment around a work day.

No referral, and a real conversation first

You do not need a referral to be seen here. Call the clinic, tell us what is going on, and we will get you scheduled. If you are not sure chiropractic is what you need, say that on the phone. We would rather have that conversation before you book than after.
